Client Onboarding Kit for Freelancers — Welcome Packet, Intake, Emails & Checklists

$19.00

Start a new client with the pages and emails already written. The Client Onboarding Kit is for freelancers, virtual assistants, and coaches. It covers the first two weeks: a welcome packet, an intake, checklists, a kickoff agenda, and six emails. You replace the placeholders with your name and send it. It is a workflow, not a legal contract.

The welcome packet, page by page

Seven US Letter pages, with sample text you can paste into Canva or export as a PDF.

  • Cover — Welcome, and your client’s name.
  • Welcome letter — a short note in your voice.
  • What to expect — clarity first, a smooth start, a steady rhythm.
  • How we work together — partnership, scope, turnaround, reviews, feedback, and confidentiality.
  • Communication norms — which channel is for files, quick questions, meetings, and same-day needs, plus response times and hours.
  • Next steps — a checklist for the client, and what you will do on your side.
  • Contact — intake link, shared folder, and booking link.

The rest of the download

  • Intake questionnaire — the full question set, field types, and a short intro the client reads first. Paste it into Google Docs, a Google Form, or a fillable PDF.
  • Checklists — a seller track and a client track for the first 14 days, laid out as a 2-page printable.
  • Kickoff agenda — a 30–45 minute call: prep lists, a decision log, and a next-action table.
  • Six emails, in order, each with subject lines: welcome, intake request, kickoff scheduling, kickoff confirmation, post-kickoff summary, and a soft check-in around day 7–10. Send them in sequence, not as one blast.
  • How to Use — the placeholders to replace, including [Brand Name], [Client Name], [Project Name], [Call Link], [Intake Form Link], and [Shared Folder Link].

How you use it

Replace the brackets, put your logo on the welcome pages, and keep Canva or Docs as the master. Export a PDF when you are ready to send. The emails are workflow notes, not invoices and not a contract.
