Client Cycle Kit
Run a client from the first hello through the last handoff with the pages and emails already written. The Client Cycle Kit is one download that includes four kits: Client Onboarding, Invoice and Proposal, Client Tracker, and Client Goodbye. It is for freelancers, virtual assistants, coaches, and consultants. You replace the placeholders with your name and send the client-facing pages. It is a workflow, not a legal contract, and not legal or tax advice.
What is inside
Unzip the download. You get four folders.
- Client Onboarding Kit — folder Obsidian-Code-Client-Onboarding-Kit. Markdown: 00-How-to-Use.md, 01-Client-Welcome-Packet.md (seven US Letter pages), 02-Client-Intake-Questionnaire.md, 03-Onboarding-Checklist.md (seller and client tracks for 14 days), 04-Kickoff-Call-Agenda.md (a 30–45 minute call), and 05-Onboarding-Email-Scripts.md (six emails, in order).
- Invoice and Proposal Pack — folder Obsidian-Code-Invoice-and-Proposal-Pack. 00-How-to-Use.md, brand.css, and proposal, invoice, and scope, each as markdown, print-ready HTML (US Letter), and a sample PDF: 01-Proposal, 02-Invoice, 03-Scope-of-Work. 04-Email-Scripts.md is four emails (proposal, follow-up, invoice, payment received). Amounts are placeholders. You type your own figures.
- Client Tracker — folder Obsidian-Code-Client-Tracker. 00-How-to-Use.md and 01-Client-Tracker.xlsx. Sheets: Cover, At a glance (counts, no amounts), Start here, Clients, Projects, Invoice tracker, and Follow-ups. Amount cells start empty. It is not an invoice template and not a contract.
- Client Goodbye Packet — the files are named Offboarding, in Obsidian-Code-Client-Offboarding-Packet. 00-How-to-Use.md, brand.css, and 01-Client-Offboarding as markdown, HTML, and PDF. Six pages: cover, thank-you, what finished, handoff, an optional next step, and a testimonial request. Not a contract and not a release form.
Who it is for
Freelancers, virtual assistants, coaches, and consultants who run one client from onboard through close: welcome and intake, a proposal and an invoice, a list of open work, then a written goodbye.
How you open the files
Onboarding is markdown. Paste it into Canva or Google Docs and export a PDF. Proposal, invoice, scope, and the goodbye packet are markdown, HTML, and PDF. Keep each folder together so the HTML can find brand.css. Open the HTML in a browser and print to US Letter with background graphics on. The included PDFs are the starter palette (charcoal, off-white, and brass). They do not update when you edit the CSS.
Open 01-Client-Tracker.xlsx in Excel, or in Google Sheets use File, Import. Status is a dropdown. Delete or type over the two example rows. Replace [Brand Name], [Client Name], [Project Name], [Amount], [Invoice Number], [Due Date], and [Shared Folder Link] before a client sees a page. The tracker does not suggest a fee.
