Client Tracker for Freelancers — Clients, Projects, Invoice Tracker, and Follow-ups

Keep clients, open work, and follow-ups in one workbook. The Client Tracker is an Excel file for freelancers, virtual assistants, and coaches. Open it in Excel, or import it into Google Sheets with File, Import. Replace [Brand Name], then delete or type over the two example rows on each list.

The sheets

• Cover — the front of the file, with a short list of what to open next.
• At a glance — counts by status. No money on this sheet.
• Start here — the same instructions, inside the file.
• Clients — who you work with, the service, the owner, and the next step.
• Projects — what is open, who owns it, and when it is due.
• Invoice tracker — a list you mark draft, sent, or paid. Amount cells start empty. You type your own figures. A line adds up what you enter. It is not a tax line, not an invoice template, and not a contract.
• Follow-ups — who to contact, and whether that is still open.

Status is a dropdown. Shaded rows are the ones you type in.
