Social Media Content Planner for Freelancers — Posts, Six Pillars, and a Four-Week Month

Plan the month in a spreadsheet. The Social Media Content Planner is an Excel workbook for freelancers, virtual assistants, and coaches. You write the posts. The file does not include captions, hashtags, or a sample campaign, and it will not grow an account for you.

The sheets

• Cover — a title page meant to print as one page.
• Start here — short instructions. The title on that sheet is Content planner.
• Posts — one row per post. Dropdowns for platform, pillar, and status. Type the date as YYYY-MM-DD. Two example rows are marked so you can delete them. There is room for about sixty blank rows.
• Pillars — six themes. Keep the suggested names or replace them. A hidden helper feeds the dropdown on Posts.
• This month — week 1 through week 4. Each week has a focus, a post count, and notes.

What you fill in

Placeholders you replace: [Brand Name], [Post topic], [Platform], [Caption], [Topic], [Theme], [Month], [Link or CTA], and [Owner]. Open the file in Excel, or import it into Google Sheets with File, Import.
